What it is actually worth

The bonus stake is not returned, only what it wins. So a $20 bonus on a contract at price p is worth $20 × (1 − p) on average at a fair price: $10 at 50¢, $16 at 20¢, $4 at 80¢. The full $100 is worth about $50 if you use it on even-money contracts — more on longer shots, with more variance.

Each $20 lasts one day, so the $100 only arrives if you trade on five days in a row and use each instalment the day it lands.

The qualifying trades are your own money. FanDuel’s fee terms were not published on the pages we could read, so we cannot price them here.

How to claim it

  1. Open a new FanDuel account and choose Predicts — you must be in one of the 18 listed states.
  2. Deposit and make a real-money trade on any Predicts market.
  3. Wait for the first $20 (within 72 hours), then select it manually in the trade slip within a day.
  4. Trade again on each of the next four days to collect the remaining $80, using each $20 before it lapses.

Promo code or referral link?

A promo code is typed in at sign-up; a referral link carries the same code for you, and it usually pays the person who shared it too. On a regulated exchange both are incentive programmes the operator files with the CFTC, so the terms are the operator’s — whoever’s code you use. That is why this page quotes the operator rather than a partner.

When the offer is not worth it

  • You are outside the 18 states the terms list — the offer does not apply anywhere else.
  • You already have a FanDuel account — the offer is for new customers only.
  • You will not trade on five consecutive days; unused instalments disappear after a day.

18+ only. Event contracts can lose their whole value, and a promotional credit does not change that. Offers change without notice: check the operator’s current terms before you deposit.
