Editorial policy

Source selection. For platform-specific claims, start with the operator’s current terms, fee schedule and rulebook, and with the relevant regulator’s records. Distinguish an operator’s statement from independently observed behaviour. A registration held by one entity does not automatically apply to every product carrying the same brand.

Evidence and dates. State when evidence was checked and explain what it supports. An updated page date does not guarantee that every market, fee or eligibility rule is unchanged. If sources conflict, describe the disagreement rather than selecting the more convenient claim.

Research and testing. Reading documents is not a funded-account test. Timings and execution measurements attributed to our own activity require a dated test record. Educational calculations must state their assumptions; example prices are not live quotes.

Attribution. The editorial desk signs materials without a named contributor. A fact-checker is credited only when a separate person is attached to that review. We do not invent biographies, credentials, customer reviews or test results.

Scoring. Unassessed criteria are excluded and their weights redistributed among assessed criteria. Coverage and the preliminary label explain that limitation. Commercial relationships do not enter the Editor Score calculation. See the full methodology.

Corrections. A useful correction identifies the page, the disputed statement, a primary source and the date of the evidence. Material score changes appear in the score revision log. Contact availability is listed on our contact page.

Scope. Reviews and educational articles provide general information. They do not determine whether a trade is suitable, affordable or lawful for an individual reader.
