Betr Predictions review
Polymarket US event contracts inside the Betr super app, in a phased beta
Our verdict
Betr Predictions puts Polymarket US event contracts inside Betr's existing fantasy and social-gaming app. As of 1 Oct 2026 it is a beta open to eligible users in states Betr has not named. Betr's terms call it a software vendor, not a broker, even though it owns NFA-registered introducing broker Ascent Capital Management.
Its help-centre fee and resolution pages describe the international Polymarket product rather than the US exchange named in its terms. Not scored yet — we have read its documents, not traded on it.

Where is Betr Predictions available?
Users must be "at least 18 years old (or the greater age required by applicable law)" and physically located where the functionality is available. They must also open a Polymarket US account and accept the Polymarket Rules (Betr Predictions Terms §2). Betr's September 8, 2026 release describes a "phased rollout in beta to eligible users in select states", with a full release planned for later this football season.
Betr does not name the states. Its help-centre state table covers only Picks and Arcade, and the betr.app homepage still labels Predictions "COMING SOON".
What fees does Betr Predictions charge?
Betr's help article says a taker fee applies "on select markets" and follows the formula "fee = C × feeRate × p × (1 - p)". It says "Only takers ever pay. Makers are exempt across the board." The article lists taker rates by category: Crypto 0.07, Sports 0.05, Economics/Culture/Weather/Other 0.05, Finance/Politics/Mentions/Tech 0.04 and Geopolitics 0.
It adds that "Neither Betr nor Polymarket profits from these fees", and that depositing or withdrawing "never costs anything on Betr's end" (help.betr.app, read 1 Oct 2026). That article does not match the exchange Betr's own terms name.
It quotes fees in USDC and uses the international Polymarket rate table, while Polymarket US trades in US dollars with a single taker coefficient of 0.0695. Polymarket US partner docs also let an ISV or IB declare its own per-order "vendor fee" (docs.polymarket.us/partners/funding/vendor-fees, read 1 Oct 2026). Betr does not disclose whether it charges one. We therefore treat the taker rate as unconfirmed. The maker fee of zero is stated by both Betr and Polymarket US.
These are document checks, not a funded-account test. Access may depend on residence, physical location, account approval and the contract category. Check the operator’s current terms before depositing.

- What fees does Betr Predictions charge?
- Is Betr Predictions regulated?
Betr's own Predictions Terms (effective September 2, 2026) describe Betr Predictions as a technology interface run by Betr Holdings, Inc. They say users reach event contracts "offered by QCX LLC d/b/a Polymarket US" and cleared by QC Clearing LLC d/b/a Polymarket Clearing.
They also state that Betr "acts only as an independent software vendor" and is not an "introducing broker, futures commission merchant" or "CFTC registrant" (betr.app/terms-and-conditions/predictions, read 1 Oct 2026). The CFTC's register lists QCX LLC d/b/a Polymarket US as a Designated Contract Market, designated 2025-07-09, and QC Clearing LLC d/b/a Polymarket Clearing as a registered DCO, dated 2024-12-16 (cftc.gov DCM page 49571 and DCO page 50836, read 1 Oct 2026).
Separately, Betr announced on May 20, 2026 that it had acquired Ascent Capital Management Inc. and that "Betr becomes a CFTC-registered introducing broker" (PR Newswire release, read 1 Oct 2026). NFA BASIC shows ASCENT CAPITAL MANAGEMENT INC (NFA ID 0427279, Miami, FL) as an Introducing Broker registered 03/08/2011 and an NFA Member Approved on the same date.
It lists BETR HOLDINGS INC as a principal with a 10%+ interest, approved 05/14/2026 (NFA BASIC, read 1 Oct 2026). NFA BASIC also shows that a separate entity, BETR PREDICTIONS LLC (NFA ID 0573878), applied for IB, swap firm and NFA membership status on 10/04/2025. All three applications were withdrawn on 06/14/2026, and the entity is "Not an NFA Member" (NFA BASIC, read 1 Oct 2026).
The sources disagree on how the product is regulated. The May press release presents Betr as an IB, but the September terms say Betr acts only as an ISV, which Polymarket US's partner docs describe as carrying "no broker registration" (docs.polymarket.us/partners/partner-types/isvs, read 1 Oct 2026).
- Who can use Betr Predictions?

Betr's September 8, 2026 release describes a "phased rollout in beta to eligible users in select states", with a full release planned for later this football season.
Betr does not name the states. Its help-centre state table covers only Picks and Arcade, and the betr.app homepage still labels Predictions "COMING SOON".
