The Fees & Collateral page at docs.meridian.xyz (read 30 Sep 2026) says "Meridian Predict does not charge trading fees": the winning side redeems the whole USDe pool. There is still a cost, though. Odds come from market makers competing in an RFQ auction, and whatever margin they build into those odds is not documented. The Resolution page also says a non-decisive result such as a tie "counts against the predictor", so the market maker wins in that case. Because of the undocumented market-maker pricing and the tie rule, this is rated below the 8.0 given to Novig and Predict.fun, which publish an explicit taker formula.

The Terms at app.meridian.xyz/terms (read 30 Sep 2026; last updated February 7, 2025) are "a contract between you and Ethereal Ltd and its related companies". They are governed by Cayman Islands law, with arbitration administered in the Cayman Islands. They describe the services as non-custodial and exclude anyone located in the United States. The app's geoblock notice also excludes Australia. No licence is claimed anywhere. The Terms predate the Predict product, and their prohibited-use list includes "sports forecasting or odds making", which sits oddly with a venue that lists sports questions. A named operator with terms but no licence falls in the 2–3.5 band. The terms not covering the product keep it low in that band.

The Predict overview at docs.meridian.xyz/trading/predictions (read 30 Sep 2026) lists questions on crypto prices, sports outcomes, economic indicators and geopolitical events. It also allows multi-pick combinations. That is roughly four of the seven tracked categories, against FanDuel's 6.5 for four of seven. The docs do not name the underlying markets the questions are drawn from, and depth could not be checked from primary pages, so the rating sits just below FanDuel.

The Resolution & Settlement page (read 30 Sep 2026) says "Meridian Predict does not decide outcomes itself; it reads the resolved result from the underlying market", but it never names that underlying market. No dispute or appeal route is described. A non-decisive result counts as a loss for the predictor, and in a multi-pick one such pick loses the whole prediction. An undisclosed source, no dispute route and a tie rule that favours the counterparty put this below FanDuel's 3.5.
