What fees does Xmarket charge?

Xmarket publishes no fee rate we could read. Its Terms (§6.6, updated 25 Sep 2025) say “any applicable platform fees are disclosed at the time of use” and that users pay gas and third-party fees.

Its docs site, which held the fee page, no longer resolves; an archived copy of its own FAQ (April 2026) described “a small taker fee on instant fills and a winner fee on payouts”, without rates (xmarket.app, read 2 Oct 2026).

The terms linked from Xmarket’s website identify TB Tech Ltd in the British Virgin Islands and describe non-custodial interfaces. Our earlier claim that the terms were empty was incorrect: the text is in a linked document.

A named company makes the counterparty easier to identify, but incorporation alone is not a financial-services licence. This research has not established a licence covering the product and the reader’s location.

Eligibility before funding

The live environment excludes US, UK and Singapore users and Ontario. Other legal and compliance conditions also apply. The live and demo environments have different scopes, so demo access does not establish permission to deposit real funds.

Before opening a position, distinguish where you live from where you are physically located. Record the relevant product and country rule, and check it again if either changes rather than relying on a successful page load.

Fees and funding evidence still needed

A complete numerical fee schedule has not been verified in this research. A meaningful cost comparison needs the executed share price, trade size, trading charge and any funding or network costs for the same transaction.

We have not performed a funded-account test or measured a withdrawal time. The absence of a measured delay does not establish instant withdrawals, just as an empty fee field does not mean a transfer is free.

How to assess executable prices

Yes and No asking prices need not sum to one dollar: a wide spread alone does not prove inconsistent settlement. Compare executable bid and ask prices and the quantity available before drawing conclusions about a market.

A displayed percentage, a historical volume figure and order-book depth answer different questions. None substitutes for a quote at the size you intend to trade, and this review does not claim to have measured that depth.

Xmarket FAQ

Who writes the rules a XMarket contract settles on?

The market’s creator. XMarket’s guidelines state that “Creators are solely responsible for: Market descriptions, rules, and resolution criteria”, and the platform then disclaims the consequence — “Xmarket is not liable for: … Disputed interpretations of creator defined criteria”. Traders get a 24-hour window to dispute after the creator proposes an outcome, and “Final decisions on market resolution rest with the moderators”.

So the wording is written by another user, the platform takes no responsibility for it, and the platform’s own staff rule on it.

How much protection does the 24-hour dispute window give?

Less than it appears, because an override sits above it. The disclaimer states the platform “retains authority to intervene in markets”, with authorised actions including “Forced cancellation or early resolution” and “Refund enforcement”, and that “These actions may be executed with or without prior notice when defined risk thresholds are met” — thresholds the document does not define. The window protects you against a creator; nothing in the published documents protects you against the platform.
