Deposits and withdrawals, by prediction market
How each of the 56 platforms we review takes and returns money: the documented minimum deposit, withdrawal fee, currencies, and — where all of it is documented — the methods, timings and limits behind our payments rating. Platforms with something documented come first.
Every value is read from the platform record behind its review, checked against the operator’s own documents or a regulator’s register; each row links its source. A dash means we have not established the fact — it never means “no”. Last updated . Free to cite with a link to this page. Not legal advice.
| Platform | Min deposit | Withdrawal fee | Currencies | Methods, speed and limits (as documented) | Payments rating | Source | Checked |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Futuur | — | — | USDC, USDT, USD, OOM (play money) | Futuur's 'Deposits and Withdrawals' help page (read 30 Sep 2026) documents all four inputs. Methods: crypto only (USDC on ERC20, BEP20, Polygon and Solana; USDT on Solana). Speed: deposits 'typically take 10-30 minutes'; withdrawals are manually reviewed, 'generally within 24 hours', then arrive in under 30 minutes. Minimums: no deposit minimum; withdrawal minimums of 1–10 USDC depending on network. KYC: triggered once lifetime deposits or withdrawals exceed about $2,000. Costs are clear and low on Polygon and Solana, but there is no card or bank option and every withdrawal waits for manual review. That puts it below ProphetX (6.5) and Kalshi (7.5). | 5.5/10 | help.futuur.com ↗ | |
| HypeMarket | — | — | SUPRA | All four inputs are documented (read 30 Sep 2026). Funding is non-custodial: users hold SUPRA in the StarKey wallet, obtained by withdrawing from an exchange, an unnamed "supported fiat on-ramp" or bridging. Speed is Supra finality of "600-900 ms". The minimum is "100 SUPRA per buy or sell". There is no account or KYC; the FAQ says a wallet is all you need. The single volatile collateral token, a single supported wallet and an unnamed on-ramp make funding awkward compared with Kalshi (7.5) or ProphetX (6.5). | 3.0/10 | hypemarket-protocol.gitbook.io ↗ | |
| Kalshi | $10 | — | USD | All figures from Kalshi’s own help centre, read 31 July 2026. Minimum deposit “$10”, except wire transfer at $1,000. Deposit routes: debit card including Apple Pay and Google Pay, bank transfer (ACH), PayPal, Venmo, Cash App, crypto, wire and real-time payments; international users are limited to debit card, crypto and wire. Withdrawal routes published as separate articles: debit card, bank, crypto, PayPal and Venmo. USD throughout, and identity verification is mandatory. Held to 7.5 rather than higher for three stated frictions: “Debit deposits may incur a 2% processing fee”, “we place temporary holds on deposited funds before they’re available for withdrawal” with hold periods varying by method, and a withdrawal route list narrower than the deposit list. No withdrawal fee is stated on any page we read, which is not the same as there being none. | 7.5/10 | kalshi.com ↗ | |
| Manifold Markets | $0 | — | Mana | Rated on a stated fact, not on an absence: the traded currency “cannot be converted to cash” (docs.manifold.markets/faq, read 31 July 2026). A trading balance with no withdrawal route is close to the worst possible outcome on a criterion that measures deposits and withdrawals. The one cash-out path Manifold documents is not a withdrawal: its Prize Drawing Official Rules (3 February 2026) pay prizes in USDC, and the drawing is void in Delaware, Idaho, Massachusetts, Michigan, Nevada, New York, Washington and Washington, D.C. — a chance of a prize is not the same as access to your own balance, so it earns no credit here. Above zero because the entry side is frictionless and plainly stated: the currency is named, and no deposit is required to trade at all because “All users start with M1000 for free”. Whether identity verification is required is not addressed by the FAQ. | 2.0/10 | docs.manifold.markets ↗ | |
| Myriad Markets | $3 | — | USD1, USDC.e | — | — | docs.myriad.markets ↗ | |
| OG | $1 | Free (stated) | USD | All four inputs are documented in OG’s help centre: deposits by ACH ($1 minimum), wire, US debit card with Apple Pay and Google Pay ($10), PayPal ($10), linked bank account and crypto-to-cash via Mesh, all with no OG fee; withdrawals by ACH (free, $1 minimum), debit card or real-time payment (1.5%); identity checked at sign-up, with further checks above stated deposit thresholds. Level with Kalshi’s 7.5: a $1 minimum and fee-free deposits, offset by a 7-business-day withdrawal hold on linked-bank deposits and a fee on instant withdrawals. | 7.5/10 | help.og.com ↗ | |
| Polymarket | $2 | Free (stated) | USDC, pUSD | — | — | docs.polymarket.com ↗ | |
| Polymarket US | — | Free (stated) | USD | — | — | docs.polymarket.us ↗ | |
| ProphetX | $10 | — | USD | All four inputs are documented. Deposits by debit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, cash at retail, EdgeBoost, Aeropay bank transfer, crypto via Zerohash and wire, “processed instantly”; $10 minimum. Withdrawals by Aeropay, paper check (7–14 days) and wire ($5k+, up to 72h), most within 24 hours. Identity check at account opening. Would sit near Kalshi’s 7.5, but Terms of Use §6.11 say account funds expire after 60 days with no trading, and we have not established what that means in practice — so it weighs here. | 6.5/10 | prophetx.co ↗ | |

Frequently asked questions
- What is the minimum deposit on a prediction market?
It varies. The lowest documented minimums among the platforms we review: Manifold Markets $0, OG $1, Polymarket $2, Myriad Markets $3, Kalshi $10 and ProphetX $10. Many operators do not publish a minimum at all.
- Do prediction markets charge withdrawal fees?
Some state that standard withdrawals are free — OG, Polymarket and Polymarket US. Faster methods can cost extra (instant transfers, wires), and your bank or network may charge its own fee. Where a fee is not stated we show a dash, not zero.
- How do you deposit money on a prediction market?
US-regulated venues usually take debit cards (often with Apple Pay and Google Pay), bank transfer (ACH) and wire; some add PayPal, Venmo or crypto. On-chain venues take stablecoins such as USDC into a wallet. The table above quotes each operator’s documented methods where we have them.
- Why do some platforms show a dash?
Because the operator’s documents do not settle it. We rate payments only when methods, speed, minimums and the identity-check trigger are all documented — true of 6 platforms so far.
